HOTEI God - 布袋

God of contentment and happiness, guardian of children, and more recently patron of restaurants and bartenders.
With his large cloth bag that never empties he feeds hungry people. He also encourages customers to eat and drink.
He is one of the 7 gods of luck/happiness in Japanese folklore, they are called «shichifukujin» and they are prayed at the beginning of the year.
These deities arrive on a big boat named « Takarabune » to spread happiness, wealth and luck in their path.
